Does music seem louder when you have your eyes closed? (For example, if you're using an ipod/mp3 player). I use my mp3 player when I use public transport to block out everyone else around me, the effect/volume seems louder when I close my eyes. Anyone else experiance that?

I'm not sure about when I close my eyes, but it definitely seems louder in the dark than if the light is on.

I absolutely LOVE listening to music wiht my eyes closed, but I've never noticed if the music seems to get louder or not.

It's to do with senses. I read about it. That's the same reason people sometimes use blindfolds when they f**k.

No but it sounds much louder when it wakes me up which happens a lot in the morning in my house. :lol:

I think it sounds louder because you're only focusing on listening and don't have to pay attention to visual things. I usually close my eyes when I listen to music.

Thats an easy question to answer. When someone is blind smelling senses and ear senses are increased that could be the cause same when someone is deaf they can see better
