I'm not finished with it yet, but it's very interesting. It's a book of short essays written by a non-verbal severely autistic teenager about his experiences being "trapped" in his apraxic body and his activism for people like himself.

Tell me what you think if you read it.

Yes.
I think Ido is an example of how people don't see the intelligence in kids who are non-verbal and dyspraxic, until they learn to communicate in writing - and even then there are some who won't believe it is the child's own thoughts, especially if they need the guiding hand of a parent or carer.
It's an important book in that way - allowing us to hear a first-hand account from someone who's never before had a voice.
