SSI Claim Declined without Psych Testing

I had filed for ssi and I got a letter stating that my claim was denied because I did not meet their requirements from being disabled. The lady that took my case NEVEr sent the form she was supposed to to my psych, and I only saw one of their doctors for 15 mins. The only medical evidence used (and the letter says so) are to er reports for my asthma from two diferent hospitals).

I got a lawyer appointment, my gf is pissed. And I think their dismissal is bogus.
