So this one guy thinks that aspies have problems with wetting themselves and all aspies wet themselves. If that is true, Fergie has some explaining to do.

I don't wet myself either. This just goes to show you how "informed" people are with misinformation.

Oh, true, true.
Just like everyone with autism wants to kill their parents... according to Dr. Phil.

Phil didn't even mention all of the early warning symptoms either. Did you notice that he only put up the social warnings? Makes sense because he is a talk show host and I'm sure in his mind, not talking would be the end of the world plus he reminds me of this guy from South Park.

Children, drugs are bad mmmkay?

Oprah did start the trend to speak of autism so now everyone else is following and couldn't be bothered to be informed.

They are sending this message to people watching and that message that is sent across is that the child is a demon but clearly there were other issues going on around that house. Also, he didn't even bother mentioning the child had tourettes.

Ahh, I saw that documentary from Oprah about autism, and honestly, at the time, it really confused me. Kinda ironic that I ended up having aspergers, right?

Anyways, the media basically is just spewing negative stuff about AT/AS right now. I'm honestly sorda kinda proud to be an aspie. =]

...or, would be 100% completely proud if people like Dr. Phil would stop being so negative and stereotypes like "aspies wet their pants" weren't spread around. x_x;

Dr. Phil is an idiot sabot

his head has taken on the shape of a shoe from his having his foot in his mouth so much of the time.

Actually, that is the result of a horrible neurological condition. His brain is the size of a pea. The problems come when thay .icrobrain accidemtly rolls across the contacts at the bottom of his braincase. Sparks occur and smoke and then foolish behaviour.

This dumbass from my art class, under the disastrous influence of author Mark Haddon,
believes people with AS completely lack emotion. He also refuses to see autism as anything but a moral failure.

People also need to stop referring to Rain Man around me.

And I don't wet myself.

I think he has acute hydrocephalus, and most of his skull is full of nonthinking spinal fluid.

I wet myself all the time and that has nothing to do with me being on the spectrum. Even some NTs do it too. Some like wetting themselves because they like the feeling and it turns them on.

I thought the tendancy to occasionally wet one's self had more to do with lousy bladder control issues..and nothing necc..to do with AS..

poor Fergie..what an awful photo

It does, it just goes to show you what stupid lies we are up against.

Fergie had a long trip. She didn't have time to use the restroom and was rushed on stage.

That's just dumb. How can empty, emotionless robot-shell-things with no self possibly WANT anything?

Thought it was more an classic/kanner thing, and not AS.

Am do have problems with wetting self, but luckily have been near the toilet to rush to most of the time,am do not comprehend the feel of needing the toilet, this is common in auties, but am do not have this problem as bad as others who need to use adult nappies all the time.
A lady am used to live with [not autistic, but LD with epilepsy] wears adult nappies as she couldn't be bothered going to the toilet, they were mostly useless because they didn't dry up most of the wee and it would end up spread on the floor.
