Abridged test: 31

Full test: Subscale IQ score = 71, Subscale percentile = 3

I wasn't expecting a dazzling score, but I thought I'd do better than that...

I wonder why the thread says social, but the test is emotional? They are different, though one feeds into the other.

I scored 23 on the short one, I'll give the longer one a try later.

Oh yes, emotional and social intelligence are definitely two different things. I can tell you right now my social intelligence is outright impoverished, regardless of those emotional tests suggesting I'm as good or better than "normal", bahahahahaha...

Your Emotional IQ is in the average range. Essentially, you're able to recognize and deal with your own emotions and those of others in a reasonably effective manner. This is likely evident in your ability to relate to others, express your needs, and maintain a satisfactory level of emotional health. Since your score is in the mid-range, however, you are not taking full advantage of your potential. By learning and practicing new skills and more effective ways of dealing with people, you could increase your EIQ. After all, we can always improve our communication, ways of relating to others and resilience. The benefits will be numerous, including stronger relationships, a more successful career and better emotional health. Most of all, you will be an all-around happier person.

I took the full test, aaaand:

Self-report Component
Subscale IQ score = 77
Subscale percentile = 6

According to your self-report answers, your emotional intelligence is very poor.

Oh, man. xD Where did I go wrong?

I took the full test:

Snapshot Report
Self-report Component
Subscale IQ score = 55
Subscale percentile = 0.13

I suck at human relations. In all honesty, I'm not surprised. Now how does one attempt to correct this issue?

took the short test and it was 41 :? hah its low but not that low

i took the long version and got a 79 heres the details
According to your self-report answers, your emotional intelligence is very poor. People who score like you do feel that they have trouble dealing with their own emotions and those of others. They struggle to overcome difficulties in their lives and they are unable to control their moods. It's hard for them to understand how best to motivate themselves and reach their goals. In addition, they find social interactions quite difficult, for several reasons. They may have trouble allowing themselves to get close with others, finding it difficult to be vulnerable enough to establish intimacy. They also report having trouble offering support to others, likely due to the fact that they do not understand where others are coming from or they lack ideas about how best to help. Perhaps by working on your problem areas, you can become more confident in dealing with your own emotions and those of others.

Short version: 72.

I don't think 10 vaguely-worded questions can really tell you much of anything, though.

I'll let you all know when I complete the long version.

Long version:

Quote:
Self-report Component
Subscale IQ score = 105
Subscale percentile = 63

According to your self-report answers, your emotional intelligence is not extremely good. People who score like you do feel that their ability to understand and deal with their own emotions and those of others is just barely acceptable. Emotionally intelligent people have an easy time overcoming difficulties in their lives and they are generally able to control their moods. It's easy for them to motivate themselves to overcome obstacles and reach their goals. In addition, they find social interactions to be quite easy and fulfilling, for several reasons. They are comfortable allowing themselves to get close with others, and feel comfortable being vulnerable enough to establish intimacy. They also report having an easy time offering support to others; likely due to an empathetic nature and a solid ability to offer advice. Perhaps by working on your problem areas, you can become more confident in dealing with your own emotions and those of others.

Oh well, no one's perfect.

Overall results
20

I am really stupid and I am really slow. I got a professional IQ test done at the hospital last year by a Professional and the Professional said that my IQ is 77 according to my professional IQ test. No wonder my IQ is so low. :(:(
