Every Wednesday, I go to this place where I hang out with other people who have Aspergers, ADD, ADHD, PDD, etc. What we do is continue to work on develop learning to socialize with others, while at the same time going on "outings" where we can experience the world on our own free will, along with learning to build new things. So, just out of curiousity, do any of you guys get to do things like this?

Yes...at the Kelberman Center for Autism, there is a great social group called "Advancement Square" for anyone who is age 15
and older with Autism or Asperger's Syndrome.

One day a week, around 5:00pm, we get together and sit around a table with soda pop and talk about anything we want to in the
group. Other times, we have planned social activities like going to the movie theatre or go bowling. We have alot of fun...and don't even realize we are learning social skills in relating to others.

Anyone in the Central New York State Region with Autism or ASD can join.
