I sit in my room and play Runescape all day.

I stay in my room often. My parents sometimes might come in to talk to me or say good night etc. Usually, we do not bug each other when we are doing our own thing. I come out of my room when I am going out, wanting to eat something, wander around the house (my room is small so wandering is kinda hard) etc.

why would I stay in my room.........I've made the entire house aspie/autistic friendly.

For me the house is very welcoming and feels like home. I'm comfy in all rooms of the house. Now whether or not I leave the house is a different story.

Not necessarily my room all the time, but definitely the house in general. I don't like going out in public much.

I try to go out once a day, but generally I spend the rest of the time in my room. It's safe and comfortable.
My dad thinks I need to get out more.

I do stay in my room a lot of the time....after I go to my college classes and get something to eat, I go right back to my dorm room and stay there usually for the remainder of the day. I usually only come out again to get food, go to the bathroom, and sometimes the mini-mart on campus. I've realized what a strange, unfriendly place the world is in recent years, and prefer to stay in a safe environment to preserve my sanity.

I can stay in my room for 60+ hours (except for food and bathroom breaks) because I have 129 textbooks, internet, music, Scrabble and train maps in my room.

Yes, I tend to stay in my room for most of the time as, I don't care to bother anyone else as well, I feel a sense of serenity as such..

I stay in my apartment alone about 99% of the time, emerging only to go shopping twice a week or to go walking. All the alphas just can't understand it and talk about me incessantly, causing me to seal them out even more strongly. I've been doing this for 62 years now. It would be nice to have one friend... but...

I know what that's like...I often think about how nice it would be to just have one good friend, but then I remind myself that I must protect myself and not allow myself to become vulnerable.

Last spring, I didn't leave the house for 23 days once. I wasn't exactly trying to stay home... my husband asked when the last time I started my car was, and I had to think back about it... and then I realized I hadn't gone anywhere with him either. lol.

I spend 96% of my time in my room, as it is the quietest room and lacks people, it is the only place I can be calm really anxiety wise.

Yes, pretty much. Though since I'm living in a student dorm, I try to escape more often because it's never really quiet here and I tend to get overwhelmed very quickly.
