On a 6-mile run during 2010, my heart rate was 211 (documented by a Garmin GPS trainer).

In 2005, I "failed" an EKG at an urgent care, according to the incompetent nurse. They referred me to a reputable Cardiologist in the area. The cardiologist asked, "Are you a cardio-freak?" I'm not one. I do jog, but not efficiently. My feet, ankles, knees, hips... have always been off and my gait is not efficient.

The Cardiologist told that my heart rate was unusually low, 41. He said that as long as I'm exercising and I feel ok, that it's a good thing and I should be fine.

The Cardiologist concluded that I had contracted and survived meningitis from being in the ocean at Imperial Beach which is just north of the murky Tijuana river. His wife had contracted it while she was pregnant so he was very familiar with the cluster, intensity and duration of specific symptoms associated with meningitis.

My resting heart rate is 60 beats/minute. I use it to time how long things are at times because its been so reliable.

My blood pressure is borderline low.

I don't know, my caffeinated heart rate is like 86, but I have no idea what my uncaffeinated heartrate is now, as I'm generally pretty wired just to get through my day. My blood pressure before I started exercising was like 150/90, now it's like 125/55 or somewhere around there. My blood pressure does go up when I'm stressed though, too, I notice it, my cheeks get red and stuff.

During the regular course of the day I am usually around 105---so I have tachycardia. The doctor knows about it. I also skip beats. When I am resting I can be around 90 to 105.

Stimulant medication gives me a rapid heart beat.

Resting heart beat is around 81/82 and today at a crossing near busy traffic it was thumping in my chest. Maybe three beats per second.

My pulse is usually around 100, sometimes more, sometimes less. Sometimes I skip beats.

Last year I went to a free clinic and I was told I might have "paroxysmal superventricular tachycardia" and was supposed to go to a hospital for tests but I couldn't afford the tests and I wasn't sure how and when to make an appointment or just show up with the paper so I never bothered.

irregular heart rhythms can lead to blood clots. blood clots can lead to infarctions such as strokes and heart attacks. please find a way to get it fixed. strokes are about as much fun as a heart attack. :(
