Roderick Usher---from Poe's "The Fall of the House of Usher"---Roderick seems to have become lost in an imaginary world. And he hates loud noises. I don't know how seriously you should consider this, but just thought I would offer it for fun analyis.

Paul in Conrad Aiken's short story "Silent Snow, Secret Snow". This was also a segment on Rod Serling's Night Gallery. Many early critics try to say that Paul was schizophrenic, but the medical profession also misdiagnosed many autistics as having schizophrenia years ago. So perhaps Paul needs careful analysis. Today, there are critics that consider his condition as autistic. Maybe you should decide what Paul has.

To add to the Harry Potter list...
I always thought it was possible that Ollivander was somewhere on the spectrum...

Also inccorect fior simular reasons

Data wasnt human.
Because he didnt have the wiring until he had that chip installed.
ecause he wasnt designed with realistic coloring
so did aliens of difernt phisologies. He simple is bult in huam image not human specifications
Elier design, like so many in history of inventios, flawed before the final product came out. evil twin not asperger requirement
again..he is inahrently nonsexual beiong a machine..also we dont know that for sure. We know one time he got laid, that is it

I'm thinking Vincent Di'nofrio's character. Can't remember his name. Is the show Law and Order CI?

All the eccentric, systematic detectives:

Hercule Poirot (Agatha Christie novels)
Colombo (Old detective show)
Monk (Monk)

Half the guys in "Revenge of the Nerds".

The "smart one" from "Dumb and Dumber".

I think so. It's when homeless people keep being murdered and the guy loves the number 5 and has this pattern. Two things on the side and something in the middle. He does it with pictures, plates, etc.
