some like pressure. so if you find yourself frequently piling blankets and such on you for pressure, a weighted blanket would be a good idea. I think the whole purpose of it is so you don't get too hot under piles of blankets, but you still get the pressure.

I always wrap myself in blankets. To the point that sometimes mom has to come help em out of bed because my legs are tangled. I sleep curled up in a ball. Would one help me. I like feeling snug when I sleep. I usually only use one to two blankets.

My wife has mentioned that I tend to wrap myself up in blankets like a coccoon. I think a weighted blanket would be awesome!

You think I should talk to my mom about maybe investing in one. I sometimes just cant go to sleep. My blankets have to be pulled on em a certain way and have to cover em a certain way. It usually takes em a while to fall asleep. I read that they can help.

I am the exact opposite. I like a light blanket (or just a sheet if it is warm.)

they help if you have tactile oversensitivity.

I love my weighted blanket (did it myself), it makes me fall asleep within minutes, not hours as I would without it.

Weighted blankets are good if you are really stressed out. We have one in our sensory room at college. It's a great room, really relaxing. I used to go there a long time ago with a group but we don't do it anymore.
