American "peace punk" here.Witch basically meant I didnt fit in with the punks because I wouldnt break stuff and didnt fit with the deadheads because I hated pot and the music sucked for me(sure liked me some of that acid though...that seemed to transcend affiliations.)

Hardly ever find the interesting politics or humour in music outside of punk, and the energy level was...nice for stimming.

OK...Dylan has humor and politics, there have been others but he was always my favorite poet.

Ah indeed! Went to see the Ramones:End of Century movie last year. Police Truck by Dead Kennedys is one of my all time tracks.

The energy level and anger were bone-jarring and very good for venting all our suppressed energies and frustrations! 8O

Nah! but the demise of Joe Strummer did. I'm surprised the Ramones got away with it as long as they did lol

The Clash, quite possibly my favourite band. Seen them in Glasgow Apollo 79? Seen Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros in Glasgow Barrowlands. Terrific songs.
I bought the Alex Cox movie, Straight To Hell, today. Don't know if you've seen it, but it's a spaghetti western, starring Joe Strummer, Courtney Love, Dennis Hopper, Kathy Burke, Elvis Costello and The Pogues !?!?

I kinda thought the old Dino threads links should have remained sticky, since they re-direct easily to the new spot. And, yeah, being stickied underneath the Cafe link, here, would be the right spot, until some mass develops. Then, with the link remaining sticky, the actual Annex moves to the new site. Does that make any sense? I need sleep.
:D

NO, NO, please don't make this religious! I don't want any mass developing, no temples, no mosques, no sacred groves!
