I have this little zone about 2in in diameter either side of my spine under where the lowest ribs start, and I LOVE having it roughly manipulated. I could lie flat out and have someone do that for hours. My friend says it's probably a sensory neuron pathway. Is he correct?

I'm trying to figure out where you mean. Beside the spine but at about the point where the ribs in front begin? It may well be a neural pathway because if anyone touches me there they may have to scrape me off the ceiling. My back starts recoiling just thinking about it.
