When a woman is "full-figured", does this mean she's overweight? I have always gotten the two terms confused.

When you hear the word "full", it means she has a full women's body, but she could weigh anything.

Sort of. I understand it to mean quite large and curvy but in an attractive way. Diana Dors or Marilyn Monroe could be considered "full figured". It isn't an insult but not everybody considers it a compliment either - be careful!

What does voluptuous mean?

Just wondering. I wasn't putting anyone down by asking this question.

Almost exactly the same! Voluptuous has a more decadent air and is often used to describe rich, predatory women who are full-figured.

It's far too open to interpretation.

Curvy, full figured etc usually means the girl has big breats and wide hips, whether they are too much for you personal taste is up to you really. You get some real fatties claiming to be curvy and some actual curvy girls claiming the same.

Only way to be sure is to see and judge for yourself really. 8)

Thanks for clearing that up for me.
