[American] Football Returns....

My favorite seasons are Autumn, Winter, and Football; so it goes without saying that this time of year is very special to me. Are there any other NCAAF or NFL fans out here...? Back when I grew up in New Orleans, becoming a Saints fan was as much a right of passage as reading 'A Confederacy of Dunces'. As my college did not have a football team, I adopted LSU's 'Fighting Tigers' as well. After relocating to the Chattanooga metro area, I took to following the Tennessee Titans, and since I'm planning to relocate (again) to Oregon, I've been following the Oregon Ducks and the OSU Beavers for several seasons. I've never played sports myself, but American football (and the original football, 'soccer') grew on me over the years.
