I have one eye that is very red. I suspect that it is a burst blood vessel, as at this point there is no discharge. However, my second guess (and I desperately hope it's wrong) is pink eye. If it is pink eye, the treatment is eye drops. The problem: I am one of the worst people with eye drops (or anything that goes directly into the eye) ever. By nature, I flip out whenever they're used. I usually need to be pinned down by someone for them to get in. However, I'm living on my own, so there's no one to do that, as you might imagine. Does anyone else have sensitivity issues with eye drops, and how do you get them in?

I used to have lots of problems with eye drops. My parents take me to the optometrist every 2 years for an eye examination and they would have to hold me down to keep me from moving, because I couldn't stay still. I have learned to tolerate it, but I still hate the feeling of liquid of any kind in my eyes or nose.
