Basically I don't feel emotions enough. That's my problem. I can't take anti-depressants because I risk mania due to schizo-affective. So what am I supposed to do when I'm depressed? I try to do things but I get overwhelmed. Like I go outside and try to socialize, but sometimes it's not enough.

Also someone stole my ADHD medication so I'm stuck without that.

I would imagine schizotypal because I don't have them often and always if I ever do it's either medication induced or it's when I am off them

have fun without them if thats what you want to do its not advisable. and look up delusions.

Without what? Hallucinations? Sorry sometimes my thinking gets ahead. I don't have delusions but I know a lot of people who do have delusions and it's hard because I'm the one with the label.

I can't vouch for others, but limiting my social interaction and having some quiet time seems to help keep me grounded and balanced.
I don't just want it to be quiet and be left alone sometimes, I really need it.

Sometimes I literally meet or exceed my "social interaction quota", and no amount of interaction is tolerable anymore.
If this is in the late afternoon or evening it's fine, but problematic if it happens early in the day.

There is also a threshold over time; I can deal with average socialisation for a while or even longer, but after a few days I just need to disengage, the same with ambient noise; incrementally it builds up my anxiety response, to the point where if I don't escape I may have a meltdown.

So I might go to the library, or drive to a local bush reserve and take a walk through the bush.
We're not born with instructions, and just because big pharma likes to think they have all the answers, and they feed their spin to doctors and the like, doesn't mean the answer is in a pill - though sometimes as I also have hay-fever a Phenergan can help; this is an anti histamine, as well as mild sedative.

Don't underestimate the helpfulness of listening to quiet relaxing music, meditation, and quiet exercise like yoga, tai chi, and the like either.
You'll need to work out what suits you best, but these sort of things have certainly helped me.

Do you take a mood stabilizer like lithium?

If you don't feel emotions enough, that COULD be also a sign of alexithymia.

What is alexithymia? I don't take lithium. I was prescribed Trileptal for mood but I'm nervous to take it so I haven't started it.
