I considered myself bisexual for nearly all of the 90s, and I ran into some really fun comments as a consequence. I met a couple who wanted me to be their "hot bi babe" unicorn (that is someone who would have sex with both of them), I ran into assertions that I could hide in straight privilege at will while I was in a long-term relationship with a woman, I saw comments about "greedy" and my personal favorite, the stereotype that bisexual women were bringing AIDS into the lesbian community, and were thus irresponsible Typhoid Marys.

That last one was interesting, as the woman who said it would have no trouble with a woman who had sex with a lot of men in the past, who was lesbian, but a bisexual woman with the same sexual history was far too risky.
