Personally I think both bands are freaking terrible.

I'll take your word for it, haven't heard either group, I would add Nickleback to your list.

I love both Slipknot and Dragonforce!

I've heard of Slipknot, but only in passing...

i don't care for slipknot that much at all but i have seen dragonforce in concert so they are one of my favorites

Both bands are equally bad, I can't vote.

I don't listen to either one of them so I can't say.

Nickleback is like Creed but much much worse.

Slipcock sounds like garbage compared to ACTUAL black metal.
Dragonforce is for nerds who think music has to sound like it came out of an NES in order for it to be good.

I know they seem to be hated more than loved, but I've always liked Slipknot and have all of their CDs. Dragonforce on the other hand would be alright if it weren't for the girly-man singer and the guitarists with fast fingers but little or no technical skill.

slipknot is the only band I truly hate.

when I clicked this I was actually hoping slipknot were an option.

Nickleback suck my girlfriend grew up near Hanna Alberta where the band formed, and thought the were creeps.

Dragonforce are amazing instrumentalists......

Slipknot's self-titled is pretty original stuff, and one of the more furious albums in my collection (and yes I have plenty of albums by "real metal" bands like Darkthrone, Enslaved, Cryptopsy, Gorguts, Death, Carcass...). Great rhythm section too, the drummer seems to be the only one doing anything elaborate on his own but it all adds up. I dig it. Their other albums are nothing special, really.

I haven't heard much Dragonforce, but what I've heard just struck me as respectable but unremarkable power metal.

Slipknot, because I'm sure that Dragonforce are a joke. At least I hope they are anyway.
