Haha, I was on page 80 when I posted I was reading Dream Psychology (144 pages long). I read only 64 pages since then!

And I have just started the most recent book, as mentioned above.

The Secrets Of Ventriloquism, by Jon Padgett.

Horror anthology I got for my birthday. So far very creepy and weird. Very reminiscent of Thomas Ligotti.

I can't remember a book I enjoyed so much.

I always have a few books in rotation.

I am listening to Monsters We Have Made by Lindsay Starck. It's sort of spooky and pretty engaging.

On my Kindle app I am reading A Tempest of Tea (Blood and Tea, #1) by Hafsah Faizal. I'm struggling to finish this one, but I like it overall--it reminds me of a DnD party.

Bluebear is a favourite of mine. I'm glad my daughter is finally old enough to enjoy it as a bedtime story.

This book presents as a children's book, it has cartoony illustrations throughout but the language and concepts are way beyond what most kids could read. It's almost willfully obtuse in its use of language. It's translated from German so I'm not sure how much of that is deliberate.

Anyway it's excellent.

Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison
Started reading it in school and liked it, but never finished it. The narrator's experiences as a black man are relatable to me on the spectrum: never seen as as much of a person as Regular People, never seen as an individual, treated like an idiot or an ass, expected to play by unwritten rules decided by others, having to fight like hell for respect, etc.
