Need inspiration for my next drawing/creation!

I was thinking... I could really use some new fresh ideas for my artwork and drawings.
usaully I draw the characters for my book... but I need somthing new to work on.
I'm only good at drawing people... cartoon like characters. well... I did complete a drawing of a car crash. but it's not my strong point.
All I want is an idea... for a new series of characters to draw... then I can do the drawings and maybe put them on my deviantart page.

the question is what do I create this time.

I've already drawn... but need to draw new versions of...

Fairys.
cat/humans.
Cyborgs/ such as a girl with a robotic arm.
modern/medievl warriors/ such as a modern day knight.
witchs/the one that look like normal humans.
robots/simple yet evil looking ones.
children.
vampires/the kind that look human... and act human.

I'm thinking of a new character... what do you think... good idea of bad idea?
Some kind of darkness character. probbaly a girl with demonic powers.
other then that i'm not sure what to make new... please make a suggestion.
