Do you mean people with long hair that play the guitar and shout a lot or do you mean people that weld pieces of metal into thoughtful arrangements?

I used to know someone that did the latter but I have forgotten her name. :(

I... don't think there are any. Or at least, none that are noteworthy.

I do have my suspicions about Vladimir Cochet though.

3 projects, plays only by ear, "computer addicted" (his words), plays all of the instruments in his bands, very introverted (from what I've gathered), very polite in his interviews, etc.

I am not sure, it is certainly possible........I am sure there are pleanty of metal musicians that have some sort of mental condition or another. But yeah no one specific really comes to mind. I have suspected Alexi Laiho from Children of Bodom in the past as in one interveiw he said if he did not play guitar and do vocals in a band he would probably be homeless because playing guitar is his intrest and he feels he would not do well with much else. And he seems to have a pre-occupation with 80's hair metal maybe another special intrest.

but I cannot say for sure

There were some interesting one word answer interviews with Life Of Agony (I'm not sure if they count as metal). The same could be said for the Ramones who definitely aren't metal.

I would certainly suspect that drummer Neil Peart of RUSH may have AS. He's always shunned the media and kept fans at a distance, stating how uncomfortable he is being around people he doesn't know. He's also highly intellectual and extremely focused on his passions: drumming, motorcycles, bicycles, reading. Reading any of his books you feel like you are reading the experiences of a fellow Aspie.

I've always suspected Eddie Van Halen and Buckethead.
