Wouldn't say I'm a fan of it, but I think the aesthetics look cool.

It's an unusual style. Sometimes it can be pulled off really well, but sometimes I think "Steampunk" clothing styles are a little ridiculous looking for any random place to at metal on the clothing.

I'm a fan of the Bioshock games that seem like Art Deco with a Steampunk influence. Bioshock makes me think of Fritz Lang's movie Metropolis. I think Steampunk will be more apparent in the 3rd game Bioshock: Infinite.

Some other obvious examples I like are different interpretations of The Nautilus or The Time Machine.
