Yes I know its early, but if i cant be there, the next best thing is to discuss it.

So who's excited, who's been before and who wants to go.
I went for the first time this year and it was awasome. The line up wasnt the best but its all about the expirance. Sleeping in a field full of partyers and having beer for breakfast in the moring, walking around in my boxers and no one careing. Let alone all the cool bands to go watch.
Oh i wish it would come sooner.

So any fun times to share?

they used to have parties back in the 90s where they threw together ad-hoc networks and traded software, but that was ages ago.

Hummm either thats an odd joke or you really dont know what Download festival is.

Come on you know, its the official rock festival held in Donnington, England.
Big bands play there. This year I saw Offspring, Kiss, Children of bodem, Jonathan Davis (solo), Motorhead, Dillinger escape plan, Apocoliptica, Pendulum, Alter Bridge and so many more I cant remember.

Heres the website
http://www.downloadfestival.co.uk/home/

Il give it a try, hopefully can fit it in with my time off.

I here theres also alot of gothic/industrial festivals in germany. Now that would be awsome. Me and the missus love our industrial and to have a whole festival dedicated to it would be heaven.

When I read the subject line I thought this thread was going to preview a LAN party. Instead, it's about just another concert by obscure bands in a place I could never drive to anyway.

Quelle déception! :(
