Tomorrow night from roughly 1830 UK time I will be attempting to be social, live on the Internet. I am doing my obsession and will obviously be putting on a face and yes I am very very scared, luckily I will be wearing a mask.

Anybody on these forums from or originally from San Antonio, Texas? If so, you might remember this logo used by KMOL-TV from 1974-93 (now WOAI-TV again). I love this logo.

I use acrylics, and also watercolors, on Arches watercolor paper. I mix the watercolors with acrylic medium. The paint is splattered and dripped, and built up over a couple of weeks. Thanks.

I think this is the first decent painting I have done since I downloaded MyPaint about two years ago:

I also think this one is almost decent. It is a character I created, but his appearance is heavily inspired by my own appearance (because it is a lot easier to draw people who already exist than it is to create people from nothing). It is probably my best attempt at shading so far (I am terrible at shading):
