Actually, I seem to have misspelled "homOsexual". Oh well. It wasn't intentional and WP wont let me edit the poll.

As far as bisexual, if you are mostly straight or gay, then just pick that. Otherwise pick "other". The problem with bisexual is that its really a spectrum. Not all bis are evenly put in the middle.

Asexual female here. Thank you for including asexuality in the poll, it usually isn't.

May I point out that you left out demisexuals and pansexuals, and transendered isn't an orientation?

Just future food for thought. :)

Although it may not be that scientific of a poll, it really has me stoked that asexuals have hit 16% on WP. That is radically more than the 1% asexuals of the world population.

Sometimes random 'sexual orientation' polls end up with only people who give their sexuality a lot of thought fill them out and 'mainstream' oriented people ignoring them, resulting in a huge slant toward anything outside the mainstream.

Just a thought.

I'm a guy who's on the fence with the asexuality label. I think sexuality is NOT as black & white as this poll makes it out to be

I am a gay female, but generally I don't get turned on by people unless I have a deep emotional connection with them.

So I am probably somewhat asexual.

I know you don't mean it this way, but that's similar to when people say bi's just haven't made up their mind. Though there may be a spectrum of preference, those who prefer both usually use the term bisexual to describe themselves. Homosexual isn't fitting, just as heterosexual isn't. It's like being of mixed race - though the person may look more like one race than the other doesn't make them less mixed.

Being bisexual is an experience unto itself. It has its own social implications that are distinct from heterosexuality or homosexuality, regardless of the sex of one's partner.

I'd select bi if it were on there, so I haven't done the poll.

What's a homsexual male?

Anyway, I'm a homosexual male.

Heterosexual male is winning the vote because straight guys like to tell everyone they are straight! :P
