Actually, I have a hypothesis regarding this. Nature at work providing the human species with the occasional lone explorer and pioneer -- someone who doesn't reproduce, and uses that freedom to further the human species in other ways.

Of course this gene would be of less use in modern society, but for ancient humans, more so.

I suppose it becomes a natural order or a natural selection.....aspies on demand

As more aspies are used successfully by society to evolve the human race, the more attractive they come, and an opportunity to breed presents then WHAM its another aspie! Like a good shaman, or lone hunter who brings in a lot of meat, may get position and rewards from the tribe, and be able to successfully breed

Personally, I think your last sentence could be wrong. I think aspies have always been needed since day 1 and still even more so now, with so many pressing issues facing planet earth. We are all in this together. Its our job as unbiased elders and thinkers to speak out with our good ideas, that can be helpful to the earth and everything. Computers, science and engineering are our domains

Look at the countries which honoured their neurodiverse, and look at the nations that bully their neurodiverse. The legacy of the USA's supremacy is largely due to scientific leadership via scientists, introverts, and HFAutistics.

If it wasnt for aspies, yanks would still be picking nits off each others backs, and building badly designed donkey carts like some ancient humans, as they say...

oh, wait a minute...... reap what you sow suckers

You are right...I chose my wording poorly. Of course we are valuable. I agree whole-heartedly. My incomplete thought was directed more at the sense that natural selection, as in survival of the fittest, has sort of been suspended for humans in modern times (though it very well could resume). But this would do better in a different thread -- so as not to derail.

Involuntary celibacy in my case.

I have never known how to get a girl's attention. I couldn't get one if my life depended on it.

I can't imagine having an iq of 87 and no chance of having a paid job a "gift".

Nikola Tesla was the smartest thing around

He lived out his years feeding pidgeons, living in a cheap hotel all alone

He was considerably more than gifted...yet the same

A new point:

Have these virgins think about any defects of themselves instead of critisizing women????

Most of them have.
However same way that there are women that are unable to realize that generalizations are never ok(its on the TOS) some males are unable to realize that the blame is on them.

Everyone has their blind spots.

Some people do a lot of transference, and shifting responsibility, in all sorts of areas of their lives.

Some people take more responsibility than they really should about things.

I really don't care for the way you've phrased this. Not all virgins are equivalent.

Wow yeah Metaphysics, they should stop criticising others and look at themselves.

Looked in a mirror lately?

I am very sorry. This is not a thing that I can make any changes on it.

Therefore, for things like that, the wise thing is probably to leave it- how can I do anything for others while I have not done too much on my own life yet?

Good question. Cleaning one's own house first is the order of things.

Same boat. It hasn't happened yet for me. There are plenty of girls who leave high school without having done any sexual activity, so I'm not in a total rush, and there ARE virgin brides still in the U.S., so don't be freaking out.

I got somewhat close this past winter, so there's hope. Problem was that my ex was a hypocrite.
