Best piece of advice here: There are no set ground rules for finding your soul mate. Its fairly likely to happen when you are not expecting it! You can't force it. Since no ground rules, forcing it means rejection or failure of a relationship. You can see lot of people do this especially at colleges and that since there are no honesty, trust, communication and that. It just a social status. Its really stupid thing. Social status is completely idiotic idea in our society.

Now what you should do. Get off the internet! Stop using technology, stop following the society.......and don't control it. It will happen when at least expected it.

Buy a dog.

Adopt a cat. Cats are better. Also you shouldn't buy one, there are lots of sweet kitties at the animal shelter who need some love, usually you can get those for free (although they do grill the hell out of you during the adoption interviews)

Supermarkets, swimming pools, beaches, hospitals[nurses], bus stops, cooking classes, dancing classes, pool cleaning jobs, door to door vacuum cleaner salesman, door to door lingerie salesman, AA groups, placing an ad for a room-mate[even if you dont want one, they come to your house!!], weekend markets, libraries, yoga classes

The possibilities are endless
