To all Aspies out there; men and women; how do you define romantic love in your own words?

Love is when somebody you know gives you money or gifts every day.

It was my first thought too. Immediately that song came into my mind, when I was writing the question.

love romantically?

I would say in-love, the period to which your brain pulls the wool over your own eyes, where everything is perfect, until that drug of mating game fades in your brain and you realise what is really going on and then make a choice by choosing to love the person. loving the person would be in my case, take care of the person, speak my mind and not be feared at the same time... not sure if that makes any sense. I sometimes wonder if love means settling in with what I have.

It totally makes sense. However, I think that there are contributing factors for that in-love feeling fading. If people want too much too soon, and they have too much of each other, it becomes annoying and taken for granted. Then, there are the things that will inevitably annoy. Ideally, both people know, and respect their limitations. I know in my case I can't co-habit with anyone. I need my space and it is sacrosanct.

Too far to go to. I live in London, UK. I have been to Canada before and really loved it. I also have family there. But nowadays I don't travel, because it makes me way too anxious.

If it fades that quickly, that's infatuation... the intense, heart-palpitating, crazy feeling...

Love is less like roaring flames and more like hot, simmering coals. Not as exciting but more substantial and lasting.

Define quickly. Time is such a personal concept. You may think quickly is 2 months, whereas someone else might think it's 2 years. This is where misalignments occur.

6 ~ 18 months

love is when you know that feeling is there for a certain someone in your life is close to you for comfort. it's like a warm fire that soothes the moment just right. you feel like your in heaven in that mode.

to me it was just finding someone that i can be myself around. someone who wouldnt run if i turn off the filter and let my mind speak whatever it wanted. but that was a long time ago (less than a year) and since then i decided to look for someone whos perfect in every way instead of just accepting of me. after that happens ill let you know what its like, cause i honestly dont know.
