Why do they find it refreshing?

My sister is a 3ds nitndo gamer and she plays sims. I played some when I was younger but don’t enjoy it much anymore. When I pc game it’s rts or Minecraft.
What do you game one? Oh pc. I thought about saving for s good pc but i dont know, depends if the friend still wants to play with me after boot camp.
My brother and me use to game together, now he can’t and only likes to talk about weed. I haven’t talked to him in years now, nothing in common anymore. Similarly with my friends. They don’t lik games anymore they grew up, I didn’t :( I should give up gaming I guess and be an adult. A lot of women it seems don’t like gamer guys and say they childish and boys.

It's probably because they're just immature, so stuff like that is still "funny" to them because it's risque and has shock value. Are your names all references? I know that Toothless is, but I'm not sure about the rest.

I actually game on a little bit of everything. My preference is more old school games (I own a PS2 and older handheld devices like GBA and whatnot), but I'm down with playing on a PS4 sometimes. I also have a 3DS and used to be a competitive Pokemon battler back in the day.

"Growing up" doesn't mean that you have to stop playing games. A few weeks ago, I went on a date with a nurse going to medical school who happened to be a major WoW fan! He was doing pretty well for himself financially and making good grades, which is what people I assume consider to be "adultlike". We both wanted different things out of a relationship and also didn't have much in common except for medical knowledge, though, so we only had about two dates.

I tend to find other gamers difficult to socialise with as the males and females all appear to be overly sexual and promiscuous compared to normal people, just don’t click with them or often enjoy their company. I quit wow because I didn’t much like the sort of people who played it.

There are a small handful of gamers I really like, though It’s pretty hard when your interests attract the polar opposite of you.

You must be hanging with a very different gaming crowd. When I socialize with other gamers they only talk about one subject. Games.

Those gamers sound great. I’m not interested in talking about sex with them or trying to be a gross as possible to “fit in with the boys”. A nice funny clean night of mario party would be much more enjoyable. It’s really annoying as I’m in the gaming crafts niche but I’m not like most of these people. The girls are often slu*ty and the guys disrespectful and don’t want to discuss anything of substance.

I did meet a gamer guy I really liked. He was very like me, but I didn’t know him much as he moved to London. I gave him the plush song of storms I made.

A lot of them are military guys. In their 20s-40s. Military people are quite crude.

Captain otter is an adorable otter in a captains hat. So I named him that. Dakota I named by looking up dog names. I was going name him dog in Japanese but game flagged it as a swear word. Teddy is after teddy Roosevelt.

I play on PS4. Do you have ark or Minecraft?

He sounds like a real man. :(

Sex is fun I hear. I have high sex drive. I like sexting. But I don’t tslk about it while gaming. Though I generally save that for romantic interests. I'm shy. Would I be considered overly sexual and promiscuous? What’s promiscuous? I’ve heard women called that what is it and can guys be it too?
I might have a overly high sex drive from being sexually abused at a early age. That’s the theory some doctors have anyways not about me but childhood abused people in general.

I don’t bring up sex stuff but others joke about sex or tslk about getting off to get sex.
Even though sometimes the female friend I have does stuff thst turns me on. I ignore it.
Games and sex don’t blend well for me.

Boo!

It isn’t you. I’m not going to say who it is. But it’s someone I don’t sense is a good person. Some people you just don’t like. I’m sure people feel that way about me. Such is life.

Most of the guys here are funny or good to have a discussion with, project a bit of warmth. I don’t sense you’re bad people at all.

MILITARY guys?! Oh, dude... That's just not cool, and not at ALL the type of behavior I would expect someone who's served- and this is coming from someone who's grown up on an Air Force base, so I've been around MANY military personnel.

I remember once when I was in college, some guy in his army uniform was being a total moron (cutting in lines at the food court, hitting on girls, and just being really rude and perverted). One of his fellow soldiers actually called him out on it: called him a "disgrace to the uniform" for his behavior, and then apologized to everyone in the vicinity for this other dude's behavior. THAT'S the kind of respect and levels of class I'm used to seeing from veterans or active duty people.

I'm not really so much into Minecraft, but I do play a few other types of games.

I think I know EXACTLY who you're talking about. If it is who I'm thinking of, then that's the same person that I seriously dislike. I actively go out of my way to avoid him because he says the most toxic and disgusting things about other people.

With nobody in particular in mind, I have noticed that too many people want to put others in a box, then they put themselves in a box. These two boxes sit on a shelve and stay that way.

I think it is great that this thread is still going after nearly 5 years. It says a lot about peoples views on dating and how important it is for us all.

Glad I don't put people in boxes.

What!?
I don't. I swear to God I don't.
Sly, tell 'em I don't box.

I did say with no one in particular in mind.

Now get back in your box.
