How do you demonstrate interest in someone?

I tell them all of my deepest, darkest secrets during our initial encounter. Nothing demonstrates interest like sharing every nook and cranny of the dark recesses of my soul.

Well without the nooks and crannies, the tiny little monsters would have nowhere to live. And that's no fun. They're the original flavor-enhancer.

Send them custom monogrammed underwear with your initials.
Or if feeling bold, a pair embroidered with "Reserved parking for [DaveAndZero]"

I inflate my throat pouch and sing loud enough to be heard for miles.

Show them how sweet a person you are by talking about how much you miss your ex.

I crawl up behind them on all fours and lick their hand.

I really don't understand his reaction. This would work on me.

I perform my own mating dance. I stick out my chest, strut, flap my arms, and squawk like a bird.

It works every time.

Backhanded compliments.

“That’s a really nice shirt. I’m sure it would look great on someone with the right body type.”

"[their name] I LOVE YOU" on your forehead or T-shirt.

I would actually find it adorable if a person played it for me.

In terms of demonstrating interest in someone, if it is online, I would probably send the person a private message and try to establish some kind of rapport.

Whether that be in terms of making a friend or more than friends or whatever.

I don't have much luck in that regard, however.
