Sometimes when people talk about meeting friends, they say that they "click" with that particular person. Has anyone experienced this and can anyone explain what it is?

It means that they get along at once, that they instinctively like each other and find each other interesting and fun to be with. Often is this accompanied by a feeling of having met someone who is a bit similar to oneself. I have experienced this myself when I met a woman who had the same type of humour and interests as myself. We liked each other immediately. :)

I click with people other people think are odd. I guess when someone is very open about their individuality, I consider them a safe zone.

I think it means that they "get along" with that person without much effort, that they "understand" each other. I always pictured it as a key going into a lock.

I have entered and left numerous friendships through out the years. But a small few have I have clicked with, and I never want to leave them <3
I love the feeling of actually clicking with someone instead of the usual slow friend making process.
