I'm still looking to make some friends. I can't seem to find any friends where I live, I tried making a thread looking for friends where I live in CT but it went nowhere. It seems I live in a bad area to find people but I guess making friends online seems to be the easiest I can do.

I'm hoping some people are out there, I can't seem to find people using conventional methods

I'd suggest Craigslist, though it's known to be a shady site... Try InterpalsDOTnet
There are dating websites like OKCupid that give the option for friends only.

You could always go to college, but you'd basically be paying to make new friends.

Can't help you more than that since I know nothing about CT other than it's capitol.
