You know the other side of this coin, don't you Beebee.

Let the "curbie" debate begin anew!

I don't like this.

We could boycott them into changing their mind?

I guess it'll be hard to boycott GM into changing their mind? They're everywhere, and could easily go without such a small group of customers buying their products.

Well, I do drive a GM product but probably won't be buying another car for quite some time.

I plan to write a letter to the local dealership and the headquarters asking if they understand how contrivesial this issue in within the ASD community.

GM's stock has gone to h*ll. It's considered a junk bond now. They can't afford boycotts!

We do not even know how a quote normal brain works on a neuro-biologal level. And CAN wants to cure it how ? right now that's in the realm of Sci-fi. High middle and low level auism acures in a very low percent of humans I see CAN says they want to help adapt that's ok to me but the brain tweaking no i disagree strongly on that.

I don't get this whole "anti cure pride for my disability(label in many of your cases)"

The only reason I am opposed to a cure being developed is that it would most likely be forced on people despite any risk of complications or severe and dangerous side effects. I don't want to be cured despite the problems I've encountered to preserve my individuality. It's not a matter of pride for me, since hardly anybody I know cares about the label anyway. There are other comorbid conditions I would want cured though.
