Sometimes I feel like wearing a mask makes it harder for someone to guess my facial expressions. That could be a good thing

Does anyone else wear masks for a reason other than Coronavirus?

Yes - I still wear one most of the time because Scopophobia, and also not wanting to show my (non) expressions.

I don't wear the Covid masks as they make me feel like I can't breathe. The fabric also feels sensory displeasing.

I sometimes made weird faces just because I could when I was required to wear a mask at work.

I don't wear masks anymore and I am glad when they went away and I hated wearing them too.

I haven't been outside in a long time, but when I did go out and had a mask on, it took away the severe social anxiety. I would probably still wear one if I went out today. I love this topic! I recently was thinking about how many people still wear masks for their own comfort aside from covid.
