i don't know if it is an actual term with an actual definition.

but,

if you hadn't noticed, that with certain numbers of posts your title changes to a different animal with wings. After 500, you become a phoenix veteran. And at 1000 you get a custom title.

post whore is; when you give yourself to every thread, in an effort to rack up your post numbers.
me.

there is also the emoti-whore. that is the person that responds to posts often with a simple emoticon expression. and is another way to rack up the post numbers.

it isn't a put-down to call some-one these things. it is actually some kind of joke. i personally think it takes all types of personalities, which makes a diverse world. Whatever some-one does to get through their day (and it doesn't hurt others), its not my place to say they are wrong.

so have fun with it, i don't think its a bad thing.
