There was a competition on the radio today. You have to find this thief and say ''Are you the thief?'' and if you find him you win 1000 euro. He was in a pedestrianized area in my hometown today. My mom went to look for him while I sat in the car listening to the radio for clues about his exact whereabouts. The thief was giving live updates on twitter so he had to have access to the web on a computer and there was an internet cafe in the part of town the thief was located in. I was going to ring my mom to tell her to look there but didn't really fancy making a phone call and talking to her. If i won the thousand euro i would spend it pursuing my special interest. I didn't want to go out and look for the thief myself because you have to go around askiing people are they the thief which is every aspies nightmare due to our social anxiety. The thief was eventually caught by someone else but would it be worth it having to talk to random strangers and then get your picture taken and go on live radio in order to win 1000e to pursue my special interest?

I'd want more money than that for the hassle and loss of privacy.

I think it's way worth it. In a situation like that, you just gotta suck it up and do it. The discomfort is temporary and none of those people will remember you tomorrow. And the radio thing.. I've listened to people get interviewed, they usually ask really easy questions with short answers so awkward idiots like us won't have to think too much, LOL.

PS he could have had an iPhone, you can tweet from those too.

I'd do it but split the money with your mum. I mean she's the one looking for him.

You could even work as a team; one asks people questions, the other could look for places to search or other people to ask.
