OK, as a disclaimer, a psychiatrist said that there were some AS characteristics, but I seem to be less impaired than some Aspies. That said, it seems like everyone has their own issues - both NTs and Aspies. So sure, there are things that frustrate me now, but I think it'd be naive to say that if I was NT, everything would be perfect.

If I go by how the NT's in my family are doing, I'd be wealthy and have lots of friends and live in a nice house in a nice neighborhood with nice furniture and I wouldn't have depression or anxiety either. Am I very angry that I got the short end of the stick? You bet.

OK. but what if you were born NT ... BUT you had a significant physical disability? I mean, yeah, there are some lucky people, but I think there are others who have it even tougher. I'd rather have some of the difficulties I have than, say, spinal bifida.
