I am infuriated...you know that quake in Haiti. Well this manaic (Robinson) is saying they deserve it because they made a pact with devil.

anyway the haitians trouble started with the french...they did overthrow the french, but in the agreement with the French (not the devil) they would leave under one condition...if the french took all their trees, so that is what happened...and when you cut down a rainforest...the rain stops because the trees hold the moisture that is re-entered into the clouds and...then it rains again and again that way. Without trees, it is a desert wasteland, so that is what happened. I think Robbinson is a racist because he blamed the ppl in new orleans for their tragity too, in both instances, it was the poor minority populations that suffered the most that he blames for their own fate.

Someone needs to muzzle this man, he obviously has rabies.

The people in Haiti need all the help they can get, if Robinson convinces people that these vunerable people who suffered such a tragity (this earthquake could not have happened in a more worse place) that they deserve this...then what he said could effect some of the relief that they get. It is not about clownish idiotsy...it is about racist intolerance.

There is overt racism (calling someone a n*****) or covert racism which implies that these people are soulless and deserve what they get.

Whether Pat Robertson said it or not you have to understand that all people who believe in God actually see natural disasters as acts of God... Or can the devil make earthquakes?

Don't escapegoat this man, he at least is being honest about his beliefs.

Agreed. It is infuriating how many people listen to this a-hole and send him money. I guess there is no accounting for stupidity in the USA, He is a grinning, incoherent fool.

The only god Robertson worships comes with various former US presidents' images on them. Has anyone ever seen this guy do anything that might mar his manicured finger nails or muss his blow dried hair? Pounding nail on a Habitat For Humanity project? Helping dig a well in some remote third world village? I doubt it.

Disasters happen, they need help, but the thing is, we also need to get our own nations back on their own 2 feet. Send help to haiti is fin, but it does need to tone itself down a little.
