I don't really feel sensory overload when I am in crowds. Whenever I get invited to some event in university (residence events), if there is food, I will probably be going :D . Maybe I won't end up talking much to other people but I have no problem in crowds. Although I haven't been to crazy loud parties.

I also seem to notice underlying meanings all the time on TV and in things I read (although it may not mean anything because I might notice 10 underlying meanings when there are 100)

I don't get sensory overloads, or atleast rarely.
My only sensory issues are small things on their own. Loads of stimulation in one go doesn't tend to bother me.
I often consider myself a stimulation seeker actually.

I like being touched; I very rarely get meltdowns; my areas of expertise tend to be languages and social studies as opposed to mathematics and science.

I'm good at controlling meltdowns, but still feel them bubble up.

I have common sense and notice more social cues than non-AS folks. Though I don't show that I do.

I don't mind being touched and I can be very affectionate toward animals.

I very rarely have meltdowns, I will tolerate being touched, I don't take things literally and I can empathise with people and animals. I will sometimes show physical affection on my own terms.

I'm very affectionate towards people and I love hugs.

I actually enjoy being around large crowds of people.

I'm not very good at math.

I don't have a set schedule. I like to be spontaneous.

I don't have a temper.

I'm good at making sarcasm and "reading" (some) people, since they tend to repeat themselves, and can usually be subdivided or classified into similar (sub)groups so are to an extent predictable. However that is also a pattern recognition and classification which works as much logic works with people, and that is not much really. :?

I appear "extroverted" because I overspeak- and overshare. So people think I am comfortable/enjoying myself in social situations. In reality, my "internal editor" (which is crappy at best) shuts down completely when I am overloaded/nervous/anxious, leading me to ramble about anything in my head.

I like expressing myself and being social. I also smile a lot and can be very energetic and outgoing. That is, however, within the limits of my sensory sensitivity. If I have to socialize in a place where there's additional sensory stimulation, I get overwhelmed very fast. If I can socialize with someone within the comfort of my own home, without the additional sensory load of using public transit, I can last indefinitely (not like I've ever had a chance to try doing this for a long time, but I know that I don't really get exhausted from human interaction itself that does not force me to make physical contact or eye contact).

I'm not overly sensitive to fluorescent lights, but it can't be the only source of lighting as my eyes will begin to hurt very quickly.

Me too. I get bored easily. Although I have specific routines for some things- especially things that bore me, like chores.

Same here, plus my internal battery drains super-fast in those situations, so it doesn't take much to overload me.

Also, like CockneyRebel, I LOVE hugs!! !!

I'm good at reading people as long as I'm a third party observer. I'm not very good at translating this into anything useful, however.

I don't usually 'lecture' or like to talk about my interests at all.

And I used to be able to lie extremely well (I find it nearly impossible these days, however).

There are probably more, but these are the only things I can think of at the moment...
