When I was in high school the jocks would spread rumors that I was gay all the time. One of the new jocks in our school was the only one of them that did not call me gay or say stuff when I walked by. One day when I was in the cafeteria by myself and all the jocks were out decorating their cars for homecoming the new jock came up to my table and pretty much asked me out. He wrote on a napkin asking me out he handed me the napkin and I wrote on the napkin I was not gay and handed it back he gave me this psychotic look then jumped from the table. He told me if I told anyone they would not believe me and he would make my life a living hell. When the jocks would pick on me he would be the worst in the group often being the instagator.

I also get accused of being molested as a child because I do not like touching anyone or being touched.

I couldn't agree more. Gay guys have hit on me more than once, and honestly as much as I'm flattered by it, I'M NOT GAY. In fact, I'm sick and tired of people assuming I'm gay.

Sorry everybody, I'm in a venting mood today.

It happens. I doesn't necessarily mean you come across that way. If you're willing to hold a conversation with them and they find you attractive, they probably think they got nothing to lose.

People just think I am a pycho, not gay...not sure if that's better or worse.

^ This. It used to be a lot worse when I was in grade school before I was interested in dating. Now people know that I'm straight, they just don't understand why I'm still a virgin. Oh well, it's a step up I guess.

i think it's mostly wishful thinking on their part.

Ive been accused of being gay too simply because I am a private person who isn't "pash a random guy at the pub" type of gal and because I mainly hang out with GLBTIQ people. I find it hard enough to socialise as it is at least I can with my gay mates as they don't judge me. My mum gets asked by her workmates if I am gay cause I m not going out with anyone and their kids are in relationships and or married. BFD leave me alone.
