It must be wonderful to be able to live your life as if you have nothing to lose

The opportunities I've missed when I was younger because I didn't understand this leaves me frustrated

I'm gonna put this right in the future I think

I got into a mess doing that though. I went on an ill thought out university course and got into a load of debt which severely f****d up my life.

I am much more cautious now, especially with money. I like having a decent amount of savings.

I think it's good to think positive but you have to be realistic about your limitations due to ADHD/Autism etc.

I went to uni as well. Don't ask me how I got there. It was completely by accident. I only went to college for something to do and apparently I smashed it out of the park and got offers for all 5 universities I applied for and I even got some kind of award from the college. I had to go to a ceremony to accept it. The Whitworth award or something. I still have the certificate. It was a laugh.

I can't even remember what I learned apart from it was politics/sociology/criminology related and because I didn't mean or even really want to go to uni I stopped going in my second year but I got some kind of exit award which means I can go back any time I like and pick up where I finished off. But I probably won't bother. I'm not an academic me.

Yeah I know what you mean about the cost of it all though.

Mice must know that I'm an animal lover. I do my darndest to keep up with my chores and cleaning and they still come into my place. I'm using glue traps right now, because unfortunately that's all that I can afford. If I was working, I'd be able to afford the humane traps that are $30 to $40 each and I'd have to have 5 of them to put in different parts of my apartment.

Do those mice have some animal lover radar of something?

Dishwasher update: I took it to bits thinking there was probably something stuck in the recirculation pump that had got through the filters somehow. I was right about the pump but it was bits of the impellor jamming it where it had just disintegrated for some reason. So it needs a new pump. £60. Thing is, it's about 15 years old. The bottom plate was almost falling to bits where it's so rusty. It probably won't last much longer before something else breaks. So do i spend £60 and patch it up, or put that £60 in the new dishwasher pot and wash up by hand like a chump until i can afford to replace it?

Some people can do some fantastic things with hair. They make it look so easy as well but there's no way I could follow what they're doing

It's like watching the three card trick
