Since the proposed merging of ASDs (AS, Autism, PDD-NOS and other ASDs) it's interesting how "a group of professionals over the course of many years developed these classes" for practical purposes, that include mostly people on the spectrum, but not only (some individuals with ADHD too).

After some reading I realized I fit into ESC almost perfectly.

I am mostly ESC with traits from CSC and WISC. There may have been an SCSC trait or two as well, but it's been months since I read the document.

I suspect I have a few RSC traits as well.

* Social Thinking-Social Learning Tree, Exploring Social Learning by Starting at our Roots By Michelle Garcia Winner, CCC-SLP
Article: http://www.socialthinking.com/what-is-s ... rning-tree
"Given that neurotypical children advance socially and emotionally in an ever expanding snowball of social cognitive achievement, how do we – the adults who steer children’s social, emotional, and academic learning - develop and map out treatment for those who are born to social learning challenges? One answer lies in starting from our roots and understanding how social learning unfolds from the ground up."

"If you ever have the opportunity to see Michelle speak I highly recommend it. Her speaking technique is very engaging: I’d call it a mix of knowledge, experience, humor, storytelling and most of all frank and honest statements. Two of my favorite statements from her presentation were:

'The fastest way to friendship is to b***h together' & 'Having Social Skills problems means you are offending people on a regular basis'.

These are not your normal statements heard from speakers at an Autism conference but sometimes the way to get people’s attention is to point out the 'White Elephant in the room'."

Mine came out ESC with diagnosis.
I found the results prognosis a bit on the dire side.
I rented my first apartment at 17, because there wasn't another option.
I've lived independently ever since.
Ready, or not, life comes at one, and one figures it out along the way.
The formula they're using doesn't seem to factor in all the variables.
Interesting quiz though.

I tried the quiz but didn't get any actual results. I don't know if I did something wrong or what.

I took the quiz and then it told me to log in, at which point it claimed I had taken no quiz.

I received my results despite that I simply shut the prompt to login.

I got CSC for thinking back to when I was age 8-15 but didn't redo the test yet for how I am now.

You have to sign up, you can do it right after you've finished the quiz (or before), there's an option. Use a username and password that you don't use usually if you are concerned, but I think there's nothing wrong with it.

I guess "NSC - Self-diagnosed" looks a bit weird? Makes me giggle... What do you think?

Just like me. So far the test seems accurate, though I know any quiz like this is an approximation at best.

I came out as "NSC". I'm not sure I agree with this, but I may try the test again as I was when I was a child. When I was told to log in, I just closed the window by clicking on the "X" in the upper right corner of the login window, and I got my result without logging in.

EDIT: As I predicted, I came out as "ESC" when I tested myself as if I were eight years old. From the comments that were offered, it appeared as though the test author was trying to talk me out of my self-diagnosis. I will stay with my self-diagnosis, however, as it explains nearly all of my social difficulties from childhood to present day, and it helps me understand how to interact with others. - LJS

I didnt know how to answer some of the questions. Also I was selectively mute as a child, so answering was a bit difficult so I got ESC. Im pretty sure Im not. The questions were very aimed to how adults perceived you and I didnt know how adults percieved me?

The outcome prediction is interesting, although I think I am in worse shape than the test predicted.

It told me to log in to see results, so I took the appropriate actions. Should I have ignored the instructions, then?

That figures, just like real life.
