I propose we start a dictionary of autism related words.
There's probably already an Autism Dictionary somewhere, but I haven't found it.

So, for starters, I'll have a go at an A word.

Autisphobe (~o'tis'fob) One who is afraid of the expression of autistic neurological difference. Often demonstrated aggressively.
See Autisphobic,neuro-chauvinism, neuro-bigotry, school yard bully, Autism Speaks.

anyone care to add anything?

Ganondox made a dictionary/FAQ here: http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt186115.html
Maybe you can get together with him and expand it?

 Yep - it's actually pretty good and well worth considering.

Um, you might also like to fix the broken link in your signature...

I'm an Autisphobe then - I'm afraid of being different due to neurological difference, and I get aggressive about it.

I think the more common term is "Aspiphobia", the irrational fear of autistic people.

Not inclusive enough, though I guess you could use "ablism" for the entire spectrum plus everybody else with a disability too.

Here's the question--do we need a specific word for just autistics? Is prejudice faced by autistics the same phenomenon as that faced by people with, for example, ADHD, cerebral palsy, or hearing impairments? If yes, then there's no need for a special word. If there's something about autism that invites a unique sort of prejudice that others don't experience, then there might be a need for a special word; but right now, I don't see anything particularly unusual about the way people treat us, at least not compared to others.

Your contribution earlier made it appear that you thought people who do not have autism are inferior

How bout this? I came across it in the urban dictionary and I pretty much fit the description as well.

aspinaut

Derived from the combination of Aspie+Autie. Someone on the autism spectrum who displays features of both autism and Asperger's Syndrome.
"So are you Aspie or Autie"?
"I'm more of an aspinaut".
