I've honestly never had Heinz. I'll have to try it out. I like spreads of sorts.
It's kinda rare. I'd only ever seen it in packets at gas stations, at my school, or given with subs and hamboats sold by the football team/boy scouts as a fundraiser... that is, until recently. I was walking thru wal mart late one night when I noticed a jar of heinz mayonnaise, and it said "NEW!" so it clearly hasn't been around in a jar for very long. Its ingredient list is populated only by words I can pronounce. It only has ONE thing that sounds like it's not food(calcium disodium EDTA), and it's the last ingredient on the list, which means it's also the ingredient that makes up the smallest percentage of the total.
It says: Soybean oil, white distilled vinegar, egg yolks, whole eggs, water, sugar, salt, lemon juice, calcium disodium edta.
Hellman's has the exact same ingredients, except it contains "natural flavors."
I coulda sworn hellman's had more preservatives and whatnot, but apparently not... Maybe it was Kraft that had all that nonsense.
