What I do not understand is from looking at the two articles Marty has written, is if Marty made up his mind in 2012, does not believe in the mission and vision of AASCEND and helping Autistics then why even bother for 2 extra years continuing to work for and/or with AASCEND? Why does he even bother? If he believes what he believes then why write the 2014 article in psychology today? Why bother wasting one's time if he has written us off as hopeless cases?

Good question, cube. In the first article he says he does not want to coach autistics to succeed in job interviews as he doesn't want employers to hire us based on a false presentation and then not be able to fire us when we don't live up to expectations. If that's what he has to offer by way of advice for job seekers, I don't see why he was even asked to write the second article.
