Don't read this if you are in a fragile state today. It is really ugly stuff taken to the ultimate extreme.

I have put the link here because I have faith that someone in our community who has the remarkable skills of being able to hack/corrupt/change or take down and block websites will read the link and decide to act.

Generally I am not a person who is much into banning stuff. This is the exception.

My own response to it is that it is the worst article I have ever seen. REALLY the worst.

Or maybe you are the author of the article trying to use reverse psychology to plug your own article.

Your highly offensive and unprovoked slur is libel. Is libel actionable in your neck of the words?

Stop trying to derail and undermine this thread, troll.

I am aware that Tallyman warned you about your posts a number of times in the past though you continue to flame away.

And you fell for this site hook, line, and sinker.

Believe nothing on this site, as it's 99.9998% bullsh!t. The authors of this site are loonier than Westboro Baptist Church. They're even loonier than Fox News Channel.

The fact that it's satire excuses it, in your view? Not mine. Under the guise of satire, any hate speech aimed at any group is ok? I don't think so. We disagree here, but ok.

I am quite capable of writing satire myself, for example, praising rapists who rape infants and then murder their victims. Would satirical intent make that inoffensive to victims and their families?

Did you read the article? Did it make you laugh? I did, and it didn't.

I worry having looked (and it is horrible) that they may count hits. Will us looking encourage them about this being a good article?

I haven't read it. But I glimpsed at it for a few seconds. The naked guy and the text under was a little bit funny, although definitely not much. I myself am not sure if I have Asperger's, but I have had some of those symptoms, like not cleaning my apartment etc. I have however become detached from myself to some degree. I even feel like I am two people sometimes and the split into two seems to have happened last year. I have also come to view mental disorder as a blessing. Just being oppressed, ill-adjusted, clashing with the system or being small and weak, which basically is synonymous with mental disorder anyway, is something that I have come to see other dimensions of lately. It seems to almost be necessary to be able to step outside yourself if you will. Almost an out-of-body experience lol!

Seeing the shameless pornographic advertising on that site made me wonder when we'll have that kind of advertising in shopping malls and subways. We already have Nicki Minaj on mainstream radio, singing about her p**** getting licked, so we're not far away. Yet, most people are so desensitized and blind they don't even notice.

I found it offensive and I didn't laugh at all. Still, I'm not for banning it, and I don't think hacking is the answer. Encouraging illegal activity like that isn't helping to dispel negative stereotypes.

Your reaction is exactly the reason ED made that article...

Uncyclopedia's not all bad. Only the greatest trolls possess a grasp of surrealism. The quest to defy modern information theory is a pretty ambitious one.

B19. I think you're taking it the wrong way. The first paragraph was enough for me. It's just a subversive black humour site designed to rake in advertising dollars from such noble institutions as Internet porn sites. Nothing in it is to be believed so drawing our attention to it by posting the link, really doesn't serve any purpose imo.

Seancal, if I understand you, your view is that intention makes it ok?

Well, we too disagree. Example: A man may call a grown woman who values her adult identity a "cute girl" because he intends it as a compliment. His intention doesn't rule out the fact that it is sexist, patronising, offensive and belittling. Intention doesn't make everything ok.

I don't believe much that Autism Speaks writes either, Progaspie, though I see the point you are making.

Our considerations of what Autism Speaks publish are important because they misportray us in potentially very harmful ways which can reinforce prejudice against people on the ASD spectrum. Though not everyone agrees, satire can have exactly the same effect.
