Calling all ladies of Wrong Planet

I would very much welcome your opinions on six up-to-date photographs of me. Please ignore the quality and setting of the photographs, I can work on that; what I very much need is a female take on the pose and facial expression.

I have decided to try online dating on various websites and this morning took several up-to-date headshots. If you didn't know me, which of these would turn you off, which (if any) would turn you on and which would at least get you taking a second to look at my profile?

Knowing my luck I'll only get six replies and they'll all be different :P But I can ask :)

I voted for #5 to be your chosen picture with #6 as a runner-up. In 5 you have a slight smile, as you do in 6 but there the angle isn't as good- it goes up your nose a bit.

#1 looks like you are wincing
#2 looks like you are just about to tell somebody something that made you unhappy
#3 looks dismayed
#4 looks like you are about to say something neutral but the head tilt just doesn't work
#5- looking straight ahead with a slight smile- use this
#6 also looking straight ahead with a slight smile but the marginal upward tilt of your head has us looking up your nose a bit.

Well, you asked. :)

I liked 3 best with 6 next best.

Shots with open mouths don't appeal to me at all - I am quite phobic about mouth-breathing though, so that could be why. I'd recommend a closed mouth shot, taken from slightly above so the viewer isn't looking up your nose!

Thanks for the help everyone - most people (across several websites) seem to prefer number 5, so number 5 it is :)

I like the 3rd and 5th best but they'd all look better if you angled your head down a little more. You look like you're staring upwards in all of them.
