The US government census projected that the European White American population will be a minority in 2042. Western culture is declining by demographic Numbers.

Immigrants bring benefits for American culture, but a lot of bad things are also going on in the US with the environment and employment factors. Then, the cultural demographic issues I talked about above.

America can no longer sustain itself as long as demographic trends are changing and if the status quo of immigration marches on with it's large numbers.

And nobody should deserve to lose an election just because he/she doesn't immediately cater to a changing demographic.

Thank you.

Most of our problems are caused by entrenched wealth using government to pass laws that increase wealth disparity. Most Republicans hate seeing the country darkening. They are xenophobic and fearful generally. Get over it. Take the money out of politics as much as possible to begin fixing things...

It is the Republicans that want the cheap labor. They want immigrants. It is Republicans Bush senior and Reagan that granted amnesty to "undocumented". It is the Republicans that want increases in guest worker programs/H1B programs so they can replace their workers with much cheaper labor. It is Republicans that push for "free trade" programs like NAFTA.

It is the Democrats that fear cheap labor taking away jobs. That is why the Democrats fear immigrants.

Have you been paying attention. The Republicans want cheap labor. They simply don't want them here when the cheap labor is finished. Go home. The Democrats have supported immigration. Pay attention to our politics if you want to discuss them...

1. Most of the cheap labor is not finished. People are needed to do farm work, construction, manual labor work continually.

2. Republicans are the ones who support immigration because of their donors such as the Chamber of Commerce, and business organization strongly support immigration. While Democrats/Socialist groups bemoan the prospect of the rich bringing in cheap labor.

3. The largest immigrant group in America is Asians, and second is Hispanics. In the last election, Nov 2014, according to Pew, Republicans picked up a larger share of these groups.

4. Pew reports that Hispanics are more religious than native Americans, which may make the Republicans more appealing.

Whites will be a minority because we're a relatively small race of people who have a low fertility rate.

All societies regardless of their racial composition have lower fertility rates when they industrialize. Notice how less industrialized nations have out-of-control populations. Industrialized nations have workers who can afford to survive without many members of each family to help support it financially. Re-industrialize less industrialized nations (the current EU nations and the United States, for example), and watch the population ratios equalize.

What we really need is for immigrants to assimilate and add to the culture instead of holding themselves apart maintain their old culture. When someone comes to the US, it should be to become Americans, not to try to try to force Americans to become part of their culture. Keep the best of both cultures.

Remember that when you go somewhere, it is your job to adapt, not everyone else's job to adapt themselves to you. That applies whether it is a school, a job, a club, or another country. If you aren't willing to become part of the new culture, then you should just stay home.

^ this

I am happy to welcome new, legal, played it straight AMERICANS. Not "__ -Americans" I want designators only to worry about minors (are you over 18?) and those that may need minor accomodation

I'm all for equality but their comes a point where enoughs enough! Tbh is think too much of mass immigration has happened and it may now be too late to change things.

I see where you're coming from .

The thing is the difference between immigration and invasion. Also most people sour on immigrants are actually sour on illegal immigrants or large portions granted asylum with all its benefits when coming from fairly stable regions.

I am child of immigrants of 19th and 20th century most. I am also still blood quantum percent Cherokee. All my ancestors played it fair and square, got no handouts... assimilated even while preserving traditions.
Being lawful and Assimilation is very important for immigrants not to cause resentment and negativity towards their country of origin

Most immigrants, in my experience, assimilate well into the American fabric.

Their kids certainly do. They are frequently more American than many Americans LOL

I think that's due to the USA having fairly sensible immigration policies. When you control the flow of legal immigration correctly, assimilation tends not to be a problem. Where problems arise are when you artificially increase the amount of immigration whilst simultaneously ignoring the potential pitfalls of poor integration - as seen across Europe. Incompatible cultures create problems for everybody, and the bad often outweighs the good.
