Probably not... but then again I never got the urge.

It varies by person, their level of desire.

People can have an organism on their own, so unless they just want physical contact in an intimate setting, not sure why people feel they need sex so badly. Societal pressures? I think a lot of it has to do with feeling like we can have sex. That it is abnormal to not have sex. Or that we are undesirable if we can't find a willing partner.

Sex is a team sport. You need a trusted partner to really excel.

I used to get really frustrated and really horny.

All the societal pressure really can sound like "badvertising". It's like some pitch guy telling me how much I need Product X, never mind that Product X is not going to pay my bills, cure my diabetes, or make me a better person.

One thing I've always wondered... if one "scores", why isn't there a point system, and a way to redeem those points for prizes? Seems like an awful lot of hassle for a pleasure rush that's only going to last a few seconds.

If it is the act of sex, it is a much different sensation to masturbate, than to fully penetrate a woman and feel the warmth and everything else associated with the act. Anal is also a different sensation along with oral. There is a good reason guys have a fascination with blowjobs, anal or vaginal penetration and a hand job is... just a hand job though better than Rosey. I guess there are artificial ways of simulating sex, but I imagine it is much the same as the difference from being with a man or pleasuring yourself with a dildo or vibrator. Obviously the vibrator is better. Not all orgasms are equal, but you are right the one associated with someone you love are likely going to be better thanks to dopamine and serotonin because we are with someone we love and next our brain dumping oxytocin during an orgasm to strengthen that bond.
