^ No URL, but I was able to work out who it was - a spammer.

 Threats of violence against Americans.

Your previous username is the same as a commercial site which is, most often, done by someone attempting to publicize a site and as such they're banned as a form of spammer. Your IRL name is also linked with the site.

oh. alright, thanks for the reply. i don't recall linking anything to my commercial site. i didn't put ltd co in the username or reference the website, did i?

the approach of banning me outright immediately before observing any behavior seems a little heavy handed.

i'd rather prefer to have this account linked to my other email, as this email name is far from anonymous and outlook servers are terrible at delivering my mail when coming from "outside the organization." could you make that happen for me, please? it's quite unfair to have banned it in the first place without a shred of untoward behavior. i mean, someone had to really do some research to find that website, no? it's not like i came anywhere near promoting it.

As said, when the username is that of a commercial site the account name itself is treated as an attempt at spamming.
We get many spamming attempts per hour - via the username, the profile, the signature and of course, posts and they're all handled as swiftly as possible.
We tend to take no prisoners where spamming or suspected spamming is involved.

The email address you'd previously used has been transferred to your current account.

It IS for everyone. Just because some members are participating a lot in the game doesn’t mean that others can’t and haven’t.
